โœˆ๏ธ What airport should I fly into?

The closest airport is Beirutโ€“Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY).

๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ป How should I book my flight?

2 Options! Option 1: The Ghazal's have a travel agent they've been working with for years. We suggest you check the prices she is able to get you and compare them to other airlines or 3rd party websites. Option 2: You can use Google flights, which generally gives you an accurate price across all airlines that you can choose from. You can also opt to use other 3rd party websites such as Expedia, Kayak, etc.

Travel Agent Name: Sylvia Thomas

Travel Agent Number: +1 (917) 836-4322

Sylvia can be reached via regular cell carrier and WhatsApp.

๐Ÿ”ด NOTE: It is crucial that you book your flight ASAP as summer time in Lebanon is packed. Seats are limited and prices escalate by the week.

When you call, make sure to mention that you are with Sabrina so she knows to take care of you!

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Do I need a visa to visit Lebanon?

Canadian, U.S., Schengen, and Australian passport holders can get a visa upon arrival at the Beirut - Rafic Hariri airport for free.

๐Ÿš• How do I get from the airport to my hotel/lodgings?

The easiest option is to take a private car or taxi. Uber is available in Lebanon, but local ride-hailing apps like Bolt and Allo Taxi are more accessible. Renting a car is also an option, but driving in Lebanon is not recommended if you're not an experienced driver there. You will see why when you arrive. ๐Ÿ”บWe highly recommend you arrange your airport pickup before landing in Lebanon.

๐Ÿšด๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ How can I travel around the country on my own if i don't have a car?

If you plan on coming a little before the wedding or staying a little after, there are a few ways that can get you around the entire country! Similar to the previous answer, if you're an experienced driver in Lebanon you can always rent a car. Otherwise, you can use Uber, Bolt, or Allo Taxi to take you places.

๐Ÿ”… To Our Non-Lebanese Friends ๐Ÿ”…

Sabrina and Nader have a list of trusted taxi drivers that are family members and family friends who are ready to take you around!

You can contact them and either rent their time for the entire day or a few hours, up to you.
